Operating Principles – What We Believe In:

1. Our client’s interests come first in all that we do. We believe that taking care of the client in the best possible manner will ensure our success. We work for, and are compensated only by client organizations.
.
2. Our assets are our people, our search experience, our personal relationships across many industries, and our reputation within the business community. Of all these assets, our reputation is the most precious.
.
3. Integrity, honesty and mutual trust are at the heart of our business. We expect our people to maintain high ethical standards in everything they do – in their involvement with clients, their dealings with sources and candidates, their work within the firm, and in their personal lives.
.
4. We take great pride in the professional quality of our work. We strive to achieve excellence in everything we undertake, and put being best well ahead of being big. Size, after a certain point, is detrimental to the quality of service in our profession.
.
5. We intend to remain small enough to maintain the loyalty, the intimacy and the esprit de corps that we all treasure and that contribute to our success.
.
6. We stress creativity and flexibility in how we serve our clients. While proven search practices provide basic quality control for our services, each client situation is unique. We believe that senior executive search should not be delivered by a rigid formula that treats all clients alike. To achieve superior results, we believe one must inject creative insight and a willingness to customize each search engagement outside of standard processes.
.
7. We regularly receive confidential information as a part of our normal client relationships. To breach a confidence or to use confidential information improperly or carelessly would be unthinkable.
.
8. In addition to an unswerving focus on bringing the best talent to our clients, we apply the same high standard to the selection of our own people. We know that without the best people, we can not be the best firm.
.
9. For us to be successful, our men and women must reflect the diversity of the clients, cultures and communities in which we operate. We are committed to developing and introducing diverse panels of candidates on all search engagements.
.
10. We stress teamwork, but respect individual accomplishment in an even manner. Individual innovation and achievement is encouraged, but we have no interest in retaining those who put their personal gain ahead of the interests of either the client or the firm.
.
11. The dedication of our people to their clients and to the firm and the intense effort they give their work are greater than one finds in similar executive search firms. The pride that our culture generates is an important element of our success.
.
12. Our business is highly competitive, and we aggressively seek to expand our client relationships. However, we must always be fair competitors and must never denigrate other firms.
